Hypnotherapy and Costs
Hypnotherapy is a highly effective means to create changes to our thoughts, feelings and beliefs in situations where positive change is desired and beneficial. Hypnosis is a peaceful, pleasant state of relaxation and heightened awareness whereby you become more focused on what you want and need to do. Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy is based on the psychotherapeutic discipline of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), specifically rational emotive behavioural therapy (REBT). Research shows that clients believe the combination of CBT and hypnotherapy makes the process of change easier than when using CBT on its own.
How Can Hypnotherapy Help You? The main goal is to provide people with greater control but it is also used to analyse and resolve those aspects that block progress or cause concern.
What Conditions Can It Help? Cathie specialises in the following areas:
Anxiety
Low self esteem/confidence
Anger Management
Performance
Weight control
Stress Management
Emotional issues
Phobias and panic attacks
Unwanted habits
Insomnia
Public speaking If all it took to solve our problems was the use of our conscious mind it would be a straightforward task. Our conscious minds are generally logical but we can think in irrational ways which lead to negative emotions and/or selfdefeating behaviours. Our unconscious mind controls our functioning, beliefs and habits. It is extremely powerful and, like a computer, is programmed to act in certain ways but sometimes that programming is no longer helpful.
CBH works with both the conscious and unconscious mind and combined with NLP can unlock and reset your programming to a healthier more adaptive model. Costs:Sessions are priced at £100 per hour. However, if a client is going to need more than 3 sessions, the price is discounted to £80 after the first session. The first session, lasting up to an hour and a half and including a full case history, costs only £100.
